想要 5G iPhone？外媒再傳 2020 年也未必有！

傳聞中蘋果可能會在 2020 年推出 5G iPhone，但是現在又將這部 5G iPhone 推遲 1 年了。

從 Fast Company 網站指蘋果為了蘋果未來 iPhone 的數據機晶片投入了 1000-2000 人手，包括從 Intel 和 Qualcomm 挖來工程師，蘋果希望更快進行開發工作，但 Fast Company 網站指蘋果自家設計數據機晶片最少都要在 2021 年才出現，並在未來的 5G 版 iPhone 內建。

因為與高通發生的官司，蘋果積極尋找數據機晶片替代供應商，但蘋果對 Intel 到 2020 年才提供 5G 晶片失去耐性。有報導指 Intel 已無法在限期前開發 XMM 8160 5G 晶片，為了趕及在 2020 年推出 5G iPhone，Intel 需要在今年夏天提供有關晶片，但是否能夠準時，蘋果已沒有太大信心。另外蘋果亦探討與 Samsung 和聯發科合作提供 5G 晶片，但也未必可以在 2020 年實現。

種種跡象顯示，如果蘋果未能盡快開發出自家的 5G 數據機晶片的話，到了 2020 年，也未必能夠推出 5G 版 iPhone。
