預計 10 月發佈的 iPhone 12 大家都大約知道規格和機款，今次又來名字的傳聞了。市場一直期待蘋果會推出「iPhone mini」，作為旗艦 iPhone 的迷你版本，但這個「夢想」去到底只是一個夢想，至今仍然沒有實現。去到 iPhone 12，蘋果大玩機海，Twitter 爆料狂人「有沒有搞措」認為「iPhone mini」有機會出現，在他的一則 Twitter 帖子之中只是寫了 4 款 iPhone 12 型號，包括「12」、「12 Pro」、「12 Pro Max」，以及「12mini」。

傳聞 iPhone 12 有 4 款，包括 5.4 吋（12）、6.1 吋（12）、6.1 吋（12 Pro）以及 6.7 吋（12 Pro），較大的款式會冠名「Max」，而「有沒有搞措」提及的「12mini」可能是 iPhone 12 mini，即 5.4 吋 iPhone 12，機身遠遠小過 iPhone 11 Pro，螢幕瀏海較小，機背用雙鏡頭相機。
