Google 停止與華為合作之後，未來新推出的國際版華為手機隨時連 Google Play 也不能登入，下載應用程式變得非常不便。

Google Play 雖然是全球最重要的 App 商店，但不是唯一，就算缺少了 Google Play，華為總會找到另外的 App 商店取代。於是，葡萄牙傳媒 DN Insider 引述 Aptoide 的 Paulo Trezentos 確認第三方 App 商店 Aptoide 正商討與華為建立合作關係，並曾進行多方面接觸。目前未知合作形式會是什麼，但有可能是直接將 Aptoide App 取代 Google Play 的 App，或者將 Aptoide 內容以 API 形式整合到自家 App 商店之中。

Aptoide 使用人數達 2 億！有力挑戰 Google Play！

Aptoide 是 Google Play 以外的最重要第三方 Android App 商店，提供手機、平板、TV、VR、兒童等眾多版本，截 2017 年用戶達 2 億、應用程式數目達 80 萬，下載次數達 60 億次。Aptoide 擁有龐大軟件和客戶源，如果真的與華為合作，將大大提升 Aptoide 的使用率，甚至挑戰 Google Play 的地位。

由於中國不能用 Google Play，所有中國版華為手機早已改用自家的「應用市場」，因此不受 Google 停止合作影響。
